User Agent String for IE9 Preview shows details for IE8I installed the IE 9 Platform Preview and IETester v0.4.4 and it appears to be working correctly - I can Click the New IE9 button and it creates a new tab with the '9' Icon. However, when I go to http://www.useragentstring.com/ , it returns a user agent string of: Code:Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; WWTClient2; Tablet PC 2.0; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; OfficeLiveConnector.1.5; OfficeLivePatch.1.3; .NET4.0C) When using the platform preview itself, the string is returned as: Code:Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/5.0) I am running Vista, SP2, 32bit Offline |
