Hotkey conflicts with IERealizing now that the hotkey can be disabled, I originally supposed this issue wouldn't come up much because I imagined most users being "point and click" afficionados. Maybe not (or they just noticed before I did), but I do know that being in IT for most of my life has made keyboard commands an intimate (and highly automatic) part of what I do. After installing DebugBar, I almost immediately ran into a problem with its hotkey (Alt+D). In Firefox, which I use almost exclusively, Alt+D puts your cursor in the Address bar and highlights the text. In Windows, Safari is the same way, I've customized Opera's hotkeys, and IE just (normally) does the same thing until DB is installed. Re: Hotkey conflicts with IEWell, thank you for your professional response. Since you intended for Debugbar to have its hotkeys not set (and mine came in that way), here's my software environment in case it was related: Offline #4 2008-05-24 18:40:17Re: Hotkey conflicts with IEFine. Offline |
