DebugBar forums / IE7 crash when installing DebugBar

Hi!

I was interested to test the features of this tools, whose kind is lacking for IE.
But I never could have it work. After installing it (and enabling it the first time) IE always crashes when I run it. I have to completely uninstall debugbar for it to work.

Do you have an idea of what is wrong with my configuration ?

I'm running on XP SP2, IE7 (version 7.0.5730.11 for info). I have local admin rights on the account I'm using.

Hi,

I am posting here the problem for people who have the same crash : IE is crashing when Virus Scan Entreprise Edition 8.0 is running on the machine and DebugBar is installed.

The later version of VScan EE is solving the problem (I tried version 8.5 and it is working).
So, upgrading Virus Scan should solve the problem.

Feel free to contact me if you can't upgrade, or still have troubles.

Looks like I have the same problem. I have Edition 8.0. Is there any way to get DebugBar running without upgrading to 8.5?
