Re: i.e 8 tab errorI have solved my problem with IE8 tab not displaying the searched for URL. Having now loaded down and installed IE8, the engine is available for IE Tester to use. It might be a good idea to note this in the download comments for IE Tester. Offline #5 2010-05-17 11:08:02Re: i.e 8 tab errorHi, Offline #6 2010-06-02 10:03:37
Re: i.e 8 tab errorFYI I had the same problem, not being able to run IE8 tabs without the DNS error, and installing the package from Microsoft fixed it. Offline #7 2010-08-12 04:57:27
Re: i.e 8 tab errorI'm having problems launching the IE8 tab, but I'm not getting the DNS error that others are reporting. What I'm getting is an error dialog stating... "Unable to load the requested IE version". I have IE6 SP3 installed on my machine and running XP SP3. The IE 5.5, 6 and 7 tabs are working just fine. IE9 is disabled, which I would expect. I'm aware that this has already been reported, but I'm just letting other users know that this particular issue may, or may not, be a DNS error.
