Hi,

I downloaded and installed IETester, but I don't have IE8 available when I load it. Do I have to have IE8 installed on my PC?

I am running Windows XP and have IE6 currently installed. It has IE5.5 and IE7 available.

Hi,

IE8 is not available under XP/IE6 configurations as stated in the IETester HomePage :

and IE8 instance do not work under XP without IE7

First of all, THANK. YOU. I found IETester this morning and I can't tell you how happy I am. I literally jumped straight up into the air when I had this dev site open in IE 5.5, 6 and 7.

I'm on XP SP3 and currently have IE6 installed and need to upgrade so that I can use the IE8 tab. I was going to upgrade all the way up to IE8, however you mention specifically that we need IE7. Will installing IE8 cause problems with this IE Tester?

Since I can't uninstall it afterwards, I just want to check. Thanks again!

Hi

The Homepage is confusing a lot of people. It's IE7 minimum, so IE8 is ok. I changed the Homepage.
