Hello, could somebody help me?

Every time I try opening a site in IETester, after opening a tab and entering the URL, it opens in Firefox and not IETester.

Hi,

This could be because FF is defined as default browser. What is your OS and IE installed version ?
And what is the IE tab version you are using that generates this problem ?

Hello thank you for replying,

I am running XP and IE6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2.qfe.070227-2300

I have the problem with the default tab. It is ok if I select IE6 or IE5 but I have just noticed that I am unable to select the IE7 or IE8 tabs...they are greyed out

Right. IE7 and IE8 instances are not working on XP without IE7. I will try to correct that on a future release.

I will also check your problem of default instance, and try to correct it as well.

ok, thank you.

I have installed ie7 now anyway. I didn't realise but after posting my earlier message, I looked through the forum and noticed you had mentioned about XP needing ie7.
