Hi,

Firstly can I say I love the idea of IETester and works quite well.

But can I bug you to change the interface, why on earth do you need to
use Office 2007 style ribbons?

Have you read the Microsoft UI guidelines, ribbons are only used where there are far
to many options to display in menus and toolbars, you only got a handleful of button
and the second tab only has 1!

It is wasting far far to much screen real estate.

Also how about a feature to view the current page in another version whithout having to type the URL again?

Also why not add Firefox, Opera and Safari support to this and make the one stop shop
for all browser testing needs?

This is all in my todo list already :-O

About the ribbon, you can hide it so you will have a lot of room for the page itself.

Would be cool if you could make the icons smaller, I do like the ribbon interface in Office as it works
well just is not needed in this app and just uses up space that I could use to view more of my website.

Great application by the way.

I plan to add a lot of icons for a lot of options ! This is only v0.2.2 ;-) I will see if I can set 2 modes asan options, ribbon or toolbar, in a future version.

I have to agree, the ribbon is enormous. It would help if we were able to (1) Use a smaller icon size, and (2) Use icons only (without the text labels).

I also really dislike all the hover effects, it's just way too flashy and hard on the eyes. Try flipping between two tabs rapidly -- eek.

You can change the interface to have a very small icon toolbar : Just hide the ribbon, and add the ribbon buttons to the quick command toolbar. So you can tweak the UI the way you want.

16x16 is a bit *too* small, me-thinks. Are the existing icons 24 or 32px? I think it'd be fine if the text was hidden.

Anything you can do about toning down the hover effects (especially hovering over the active tab)?

Working on the ribbon/UI side is not in my priority so far, so it may change in the future, but not very soon.
