Hi this is rambabu i want to debug one htm file in IE6,IE7 and IE8 .Here i face one issue like IEDevelop Toolbar not working in IE6 and IE7 After installing IETESTER.

Hi,

IE Developer Toolbar is not working with IETester. IETester is a standalone application that does not handle IE Developer Toolbar.

You can use DebugBar inside IETester for debugging purposes.

Hi Fabrice,

The important piece of functionality provided by IE Developer Toolbar (that still seems to be unavailable through DebugBar) is "Live CSS Editing".

The workaround you discuss in the DebugBar forum (using the javascript console to dynamically change CSS) is too cumbersome for me to use in my work. I would like to purchase DebugBar, but lack of this CSS Editing feature has so far prevented me.

For my purposes, the CSS editing need not be as fancy as Firebug - just something fairly primitive (similar to how IE Developer Toolbar works) would be just fine.

Are you actively working on adding "Live CSS Editing" to DebugBar?
Do you have some idea of when that could happen?

Hi,

Unfortunately I don't know when the CSS Editing feature on DebugBar will be released.
