IE6 tab crashes immediately (v0.4.3, Win7 64bit - x86)With previous version of IETester (v0.4.2), the IE7 tab crashed sometimes. Offline #2 2010-05-12 01:08:33Re: IE6 tab crashes immediately (v0.4.3, Win7 64bit - x86)There is no change in the code between v0.4.2 and v0.4.3. The IE9 addition has no impact on the code. Re: IE6 tab crashes immediately (v0.4.3, Win7 64bit - x86)This is confirmed for me as well, and is because of IE proxy settings. Clear your IE Proxy settings and it should work fine. My question is, why would this have an effect on the tab crashing? I would think it shouldn't, and still log it as a bug. Re: IE6 tab crashes immediately (v0.4.3, Win7 64bit - x86)When I use IE 5.5 or IE6.0 the tabs crash as well. When I set the default page to about:blank the tabs stays open, but after trying a simple website (with a single line of text and a jpeg) the tabs crash again. Re: IE6 tab crashes immediately (v0.4.3, Win7 64bit - x86)Is there going to be any fix for this? I can't change the proxy settings at work... Offline |
