v5.1

1. Updated PT-BR translation

2. Language file strings 10067, 10068 and 10069 can now be removed, because they were replaced by 1100, 1101, 1102 and 1103.
And you need to fix where it says: 1100:Quircks mode IE5
Should be Quirks
And in 1101:Standard mode IE6
Should be Standards (you just missed the "s")

3. The new toolbar icon that shows the active rendering mode changes to "Unknown Rendering Mode" when the Options window is closed.

4. HTTP(S) tab -> "Info & Cache" returns an "Incorrect Parameter" error window when used with a specific site. If you need some more info, please tell me.

5. Why does it displays "Standards mode IE6" for IE7 browsing standard pages? I thought IE7 Standard was very different from IE6 Standard...
What is the "Strict mode IE7"? Is it the IE8's "IE7 Compatible" mode?

Re: v5.1

Hi Ricardo,

1. Thanks, I will update the wiki with this new translation.

2. I confirm that for IE6 it is "Standard mode" without "s". There is nothing on the MSDN doc to specify this mode, so I decided to put "standard" and not "standards", because "standard" has been used often on web sites and blogs to define the IE6 standard mode vs quirks mode.

3. Good point. I will correct that.

4. Can you send me an url where I can reproduce the error ? Thanks.

5. There are 4 different modes possible :

* Quirks mode : for IE5.5 rendering
* IE6 standard mode : for IE6 rendering in standard mode & IE7 rendering in standard mode
* IE7 strict mode : for IE8 rendering in standard mode (that is using IE7 rendering engine).
* IE8 standards mode : only for IE8, when using the new IE8 rendering engine.

IE6 and IE7 has 2 rendering mode : standard and quirks
IE8 has 3 rendering mode : standards (IE8), strict (IE7) and quirks (IE5.5)

Hope this helps.

4. http://volleyecia.com.br/
If you type http://www.volleyecia.com.br/ I think it will work.

Re: v5.1

Bad :-( Some other users reported this problem, but I can't reproduce it. It is working fine on my machine.
What is the OS and IE version where you have the problem ?

Thanks.

Re: v5.1

IE7
XP+SP3

I think it is happening only for the first tab opened (the initial tab).
1. Start IE.
2. Open DebugBar side bar, go to the HTTP(S) tab and click 'Info & Cache'.
3. Load the site on the current tab (should be the initial tab).
4. Select an item in the HTTP(S) tab for the loaded site. (Click the plus sign to show them).
5. It should display the error.

Re: v5.1

Hi Ricardo,

Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce it. Tried on Vista/IE7, XPSP3/IE7 and XPSP2/IE7.
Frustrating :-(

Re: v5.1

Do you have some debug version?

Alternatively, we can just ignore it. That small problem has no importance for me at all.

Re: v5.1

OK, I will keep it in my list of bugs. This is not an important one so far.

Thanks.
