long time user having terrible problems - please help

i've been using ieTester every day - running ie7 and testing 6 & 8.

upgraded from v3+ to newest version after upgrading from ie7 to ie8. ieTester keeps bombing especially on any v7 page.

also i'm getting script errors  especially in ie8 running flash - i'm using flash.embed jQuery

- here's one of them

function __flash__addCallback(instance, name) {
  instance[name] = function () {
    return eval(instance.CallFunction("<invoke name=\""+name+"\" returntype=\"javascript\">" + __flash__argumentsToXML(arguments,0) + "</invoke>"));
  }
}
function __flash__removeCallback(instance, name) {
  instance[name] = null; ****************************** THIS WAS THE ERROR LINE
}

after which my program says "script error" "continue or not" at which i say yes - and the flash is presented!

also in old version i somehow instructed when selecting the 'All IE versions" formerly i was able to control what they were hwne loaded (i.e. excluding 5.5, etc.) how is that don ein this version. can't find it anywhere!

thnaks - your product has been very, very helpful to me.

svb

i'm on vista sp2 and up to date on all updates. installed ie is v8.0.6001.18813

Hi,

I'm sorry but I don't understand your question. Can you be more precise and clear please ?
