IE7 tab crashes (and not the entire IETester program)

This happens after a while (some minutes) if I start a tab with IE7. IE8 tab is not a problem.

OS Name    Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version    5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600

IE Version    8.0.6001.18702, Build    86001.

IETester version 0.4.4 (but if I check for updates I'm told there's an update, but the updated version is also 0.4.4???).

IETester tab IE7 is the one that crashes.

Sample url is local host (IIS).
I've also tried with wwwgoogle.com and the same thing (crash) happens.

The crash:
IETester.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x7e901089" referenced memory at "0x7e901089". The memory could not be "read".

AppName: ietester.exe     AppVer: 0.4.4.0     ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0     Offset: 7e8c44af

I also have a txt file with lots more details, but it is very long. Let me know if it is of interest.

Has there been any progress with it?  IETester is a wonderful program, but I have been experiencing the IE7 crash program as well.

Re: IE7 tab crashes (and not the entire IETester program)

Grrrr.. This is a really annoying problem.

But I will say thank you for providing the "Reopen" button to get to the page where it crashed. Crashes will happen even if you fix this bug, and that feature is a real time saver when we do have a crash.

By the way: if it's any help, this bug seems to happen if you leave it unattended for a few minutes. If you're actively using the browser, it tends to be fine.
