Bug with PNG images in IE6 / DebugBar forums

Exist a solution for fixing transparent PNG image for IE6.
It is based on showing PNG image with IE progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader

IEtester works correct when file is located on disk (C:\.....html). But after it is posted to the server and
you try to enter thought the http://.....html no PNG image is displayed.

Easy way to simulate an error:
1) download pndfiz.zip from http://jquery.andreaseberhard.de/pngFix/
2) Extract to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\pngFix
3) Run file C:\inetpub\wwwroot\pngFix\index.html with IETester (IE6) - you see image
4) Run file http://localhost/pngFix/index.html with IETester (IE6) - image are hidden

I am aware of this problem. I plan to correct it on a future version.

Hi,

Another user found the solution for this problem. It looks like IETester needs to have admin privileges on Vista and 2008 to render transparent png under IE6 !

IE 5.5 seems to be broken on XP, i.e., can't display transparent PNGs using the AlphaImageLoader filter.
