First, let me say that the Debugbar works extremely well in disclosing problems that are scripting errors in IE7 (which Firefox appears to be able to run trouble-free). Thanks for providing this wonderful resource.

So, now that I know I have these problems, are there "fixing tools" that an amateur debugger might find useful?

Hi,

You can also try Companion.JS which gives more detailled information about JS errors under IE, as well as a "console.log" feature compatible with the firebug one !
