My Issues List

Hi!
Nice to have a forum now! (Much better than the old Wiki!)

Now, my points:
* Where are the links to the English language of the Debugbar.com site? (Them usually adds the ?langage=en suffix to the current page)... [Fix-me: it should be language]
* Some horizontal scrollbars seems to have a fixed scroll size and if we click in the scroll free-space, they will not move and will scroll a lot. Ask for an example if you can't understand me on this.
* Version 4.1 registration code is not working on v5 beta... Is this right?
* Bug 7 of the Wiki.
* Scrollbar bug I reported by email is still there:

Before clicking over the scrollbar (the default state):

After clicking over the scrollbar:

Good job!
(Don't hurry to fix those wink)

PS.: Updated Portuguese(Brazil) translation is here.
PS. 2: I can't make a real list with a forum that doesn't have the [list] tag... lol.

Re: My Issues List

Hi Ricardo,

Thank you for the translation, I will add it to langages page.
About your list :

1/ This is corrected : I forgot the link on the new template. For info, in french "langage" is right. That is why there is no "u"....

2/ I don't understand this one. Can you provide more detailled info ? thanks.

3/ Right. I corrected this bug yesterday (the "license" code didn't like the unicode version yikes). It will be ok on the next release.

4/ I know for a long time for this one. I will correct it someday... (not really urgent I think)

5/ I am still working on this one :-(

Thanks for the feedback !

It happens on the HTMLCheck tab too.

Still valid on 5.0 Final.

Above post is also valid.

Updated PT-BR Translation Here

You could have asked translators to update the languages before you released the final version.

P.S.: Check my post in the IETester forum's section.

Re: My Issues List

Hi Ricardo,

you like to keep me busy ;-)

The registration needs to be updated in order to work on v5.0. I will do so today or tomorrow, and then registered users will be able to get their new registration code using http://www.debugbar.com/request-code/ page.

I will release v5.0.1 (a crashing bug has been found...) shortly and will update the PT-BR translation in it. Thanks for been so fast on the translation !

I will answer about IETester soon...

Re: My Issues List

There's just one new line to translate wink
But I also made some small changes.

you like to keep me busy ;-)

You are free to make the changes when you can. I just point out the things. I do the same for the GetRight program; I make big lists and its developer fixes how many things he want when he want/can.
wink

P.S.: "Download time" and "Rendering Page Time" data in the Info tab are not displayed if DebugBar is open after the page is completely loaded; for them to be displayed, DebugBar must be open before the page is loaded or when it is loading. Is this behaviour correct?

Hi Ricardo,

Don't misunderstand my comment. I like active people ! They give ideas, feedbacks, bugs, and the tool can improve the way users want it.

Re: My Issues List

About your PS : This is correct.

DebugBar is handling the page  download once the bar is opened. It may change in the future, but not a priority so far (my priority today is to work on ietester ;-)

Next step is chat system on the site ....

Re: My Issues List

I think you know about this:
On Vista, the width of the DebugBar panel is not memorized, unless IE is executed with admin privileges.
I found that it tries to write to this Regkey and is denied:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Explorer Bars\{947E34E9-1D85-43CB-9CBF-5C492118FDD5}\BarSize

Re: My Issues List

I have Vista and using IE in protected mode and do have any problems with that.

Debugbar width is not handled by DebugBar but by IE itself.

Re: My Issues List

Here, it doesn't memorize in protected mode, but it does when that is off.

I've just installed DebugBar here on my Vista partition -- just a few minutes before the previous post.

Re: My Issues List

Strange. Do you have other panel plugins ? if so you can test if this problem occurs with the other extensions as well or if it is specific to DebugBar

Re: My Issues List

No other add-on with a panel (yet)...
I'll try the IE Developer Toolbar...

Yeah, it's doing the same...
Ignore this one. Looks like something on my system, no fix needed on your side.
