Re: IE8 does not display page

http://www.idesigner.co.uk or http://www.limelightstudios.co.uk or http://www.google.co.uk

It's the last one that made me think I have a problem !

Thank you

Re: IE8 does not display page

Working fine for me. Do you have some ie extensions installed that might impact the page ? Do you open an IE8 tab after launching IETester, or other ie version first ?

Re: Do you have some ie extensions installed that might impact the page ?

No ie7 is a basic install with only
Debugbar, DebugBar BHO, Shockwave Flash Object, Diagnose Connection Problems add-ons enabled
and
Windows Messanger add-on disabled

Re: Do you open an IE8 tab after launching IETester, or other ie version first ?

Have tried both methods and opening IETester via IE7 window with menu bar option

Noticed today that the 'tab pane' for IE8 is actually transparent and will show contents of other tab/s previously loaded. On load the IE8 tab with eg http://www.google.co.uk is totally white if loaded on own ie with no other tabs for other ie versions. The curser positions correctly in the search box with  no surrounding graphics displayed and returns ONLY the pipe character when typing content into the search box.

Hope this helps and thank you for developing IETester - it has been a great help resolving IE issues 5.5 to 7

Re: IE8 does not display page

I can't reproduce the problem :-(

I hope it will disappear with a future release.

Re: IE8 does not display page

Ok I guess it must be a local set up issue. I'll try switching to another Mac.

Thank you for your help
