IE6 has Canvas support

I tried the following page in IE6 with IETester:
http://www.filamentgroup.com/lab/update … ning_with/

The page displayes charts, with html5 canvas.
To my suprise They were all shown correctly in the IE6 Tab.
T don`t think IE6 got canvas support, so this must be somehow wrong.

Re: IE6 has Canvas support

Hi,

It looks like IETester behaves correctly. The page display charts and specifically says that the library "accessible to people who browse the web with a screen reader or other assistive technology, or with browsers that don't fully support JavaScript or HTML5 Canvas".

So, it degrades nicely under IE6. I tested on a real IE6 under a virtual machine and I have the same displayed page as IETester.

If you are testing on this page:

http://html5demos.com/canvas

you will have a javascript error, the same as the real IE6 and the canvas won't be displayed.

Hope this helps.
