Multiple Browser-Versions

IE 6, for example, exists in more than one Version (ServicePacks etc.).
Implementing these would be nice.

Re: Multiple Browser-Versions

Hi,

Is there really a difference regarding CSS/HTML/Javascript on those different service packs ? I am not sure about that.
I think changes are mainly on the security part between IE service packs. So, IE6 and IE6 SP1 for instance should render the web page in the same way... I am not 100% sure about that anyway.

Re: Multiple Browser-Versions

I've seen and worked on examples regarding this difference in rendering. Mayby I can post specific Versionnumbers that render different.

Re: Multiple Browser-Versions

I found two Versionnumbers of IE6 that definitly render different in specific situations.

6.0.2900.2180
6.0.3790.1830

[EDIT] I collected some IE6 Versions, I'll check these for the "difference in rendering" issue.

[EDIT 2] Here's a description - Different Rendering in IE6 SP1 and IE6 SP2 http://www.wow-factor.com/forums/index. … ;st=0&
