Using the sidebar on other open windows

Thanks for making development on IE much easier smile

Our application opens a new window which disables the menu, status bar, and about everything else you can disable. It is possible to view the source of other open windows via the spy feature, but I would really like to be able to use the handy sidebar functionally in other windows.

Thanks,

Adam

Re: Using the sidebar on other open windows

I guess if you set a hot key for "Toggle Development Bar" under the "DebugBar Options", you will be able to activate the sidebar ('Development Bar') on your custom window (aka 'pop-up window'). Note: for you to be able to see the entire sidebar on the pop-up window, I suggest you make it resizable.

Re: Using the sidebar on other open windows

Hi,

Ricardo is right. You can set a hot key to open the Development Bar and use it on popup windows to have DebugBar side bar and all its tools for debugging your popup page.

Hope this helps.
