How does it work?Excuse my ignorance but may I ask how the program works? Apparently the only alternative right now for Vista is to install a Microsoft-supplied virtual image, which seems a pretty foolproof way to test IE6 etc. But your application is obviously smaller/nicer than running that. There doesn't seem to be any doco on the net; how did you get the alternative rendering engines going? I'm just wondering how reliable they are as a test of a real Win+IE setup. Re: How does it work?I suppose you mean "technically speaking" : I am hooking win32 functions to override standard calls and launch custom versions of IE instead of standard version. Offline #4 2008-10-24 12:18:04
Re: How does it work? Thanks. Yeah I meant technically, I had looked at the doco already and didn't find anything there. I'm using Firefox and the video doesn't work in Firefox - just realised there is a video there if you use IE. Last edited by fletchgqc (2008-10-24 12:19:05) Offline #5 2008-10-24 12:33:33
