Script error line numbers do not match "View Source" line numbers?

Hi -

I'm running IE7 on Windows XP SP3.  When I get a script error at e.g. "line 1201 character 39", I cannot find the error on that line in the source, either with the "Original Source Code" or the "IE Interpreted Source Code".

I am not sure this is actually a DebugBar bug, since I have seen IE report strange locations for errors that turned out to be many lines away in the source.  Any ideas how to track down this kind of error if the lines don't match up?

Thanks!
Larry

Hi,

IE is reporting javascript error code incorrectly. To have an accurate error report, you can use Companion.JS
