Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterThanks for your feedback. Offline #3 2009-03-24 17:37:43
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterThanks for the update frabrice. I plan to use IETester exclusively once it's working in Windows 7. Folks won't be patient, but that's partially a compliment to the Windows 7 team. A lot of these guys are upgrading to 7 from XP and they're ready for the switch. Offline #4 2009-03-24 17:48:58
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterI will work on it in the future, Hopefully the bugs are easy to fix :-) Offline #5 2009-03-25 14:10:52

Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterIt is not good as ie tester xenocode(dot)com/Browsers Offline #8 2009-04-01 16:30:01
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterYea, xenocode crashes pretty easily and has issues with some javascript libraries, but I'll use it until IETester updates. Plus, when it comes to IE6 for web development, who else is helping us? So far it seems like just fabrice. Offline #9 2009-04-18 18:33:04
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterI just registered to say that I am also in need of IETester working for IE6 under Windows 7. Offline #10 2009-04-25 20:38:40
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterI must join the Windows 7 fans club of ppl that are missing IE tester there (xenocode doesnt seems to work in windows 7) it just crashes my chrome or firefox when i try to run him, so ill hope that IE tester will be windows 7 ready soon, great work fabrice keep on working Offline #11 2009-04-27 18:41:32
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterI am sorry to bump this thread again, but did anyone find any way how to check IE 6 websites in windows 7 ? i really need it Offline #12 2009-04-27 21:36:09
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterI'm sure the best way will be using the Win XP Mode thing when it becomes publicly available. Last edited by Ricardo (2009-04-27 21:48:06) Offline #13 2009-05-02 09:52:29
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETester

Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterWas testing the last version fine in XP mode and installed 3.5 to try today under win7; still seems to have some problems; running on whatever comes with win7 - IIS 7? anyhow, IE8 comes up fine, IE5.5 comes up fine, IE6 comes up inconsistently and IE7 will not come up at all. Have tried google instead of my development website with the same result. Offline #17 2009-07-26 18:53:50
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETester
Working on my side with Windows 7 RC. Offline #18 2009-07-28 10:47:26
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterI get an IE7 tab to open but I can never get a webpage to load, not even the default page or something vanilla like Google. IE8 and 5.5 always load - IE6 once in a while, IE7 never. As I said - I have been running the last version in XP mode so I can still test but running under win7 would be much easier. Re: Windows 7 beta and IETesterIE6 and IE5.5 won't run however and crashes the application in win7 RTM 7600 Offline #20 2009-07-28 10:54:43
Re: Windows 7 beta and IETester
There is a misunderstanding here : IETester v0.3.5 is running under NATIVE windows 7, no XP mode involved here.
What is RTM 7600 ? Windows 7 RC ? Which version of IETester are you using ? Offline #21 2009-07-28 11:00:04

Re: Windows 7 beta and IETester
RTM 7600 is the Release To Manufacturing version of win7 which will be the version available to the general public in late October. Offline #24 2009-07-28 11:17:00
